3. Mei Fu JianYan – Chinese Opera style Restauarnt
The restaurant was a palace for a price, Meibaojiu who was a Peking opera master brought it.
Some of the opera customs are still decorated in this restaurant.
The decor is from the 20s and the food is the kind of thing Mei liked to eat after rehearsals and performances. The food is presented beautifully by a team of attentive servers wearing 1920’s Chinese dress.
