Itinerary:

In the morning, your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel at 8:30 am. You will then take a 2-hour drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is known for its breathtaking scenery, fewer tourists, and beautifully restored architecture. To save time, we will use a round-way cable car (or a ski lift and toboggan) to take you to the Great Wall. This way, you won’t have to spend more than 800 steps climbing. Once you arrive at the Great Wall, you will have approximately 2 hours to hike on the wall. You can take the toboggan down or choose the chairlift to go down.

After visiting the Mutianyu Great Wall, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will visit the Summer Palace. Located approximately 12 kilometers northwest of the city center, the Summer Palace is one of Beijing’s premier attractions and is equally as famous as the Forbidden City. Known as “yiheyuan” in Chinese, it is the best-preserved and most extensive imperial garden in China.

You will be dropped off at your hotel after visiting the Great Wall at approximately 5 pm.
